Exness login: Personal Area and platform sign-in, step by step

The Personal Area signs in with the email and password chosen at registration — on the official exness.com and nowhere else. MT4 and MT5 use a different key: trading account number, trading password, and server name. Both doors are below, with the fixes for when one refuses to open.

This is an independent partner website — not Exness itself, and it never asks for a login. Registration, login, and trading happen on the official exness.com; every account button here leads there. This page only explains the way in.

Which door

Two Exness logins: the Personal Area and the platform

Many failed logins are simply the right password at the wrong door. The Personal Area — the account dashboard on exness.com — takes an email. The MT4 and MT5 terminals take a trading account number. The table sorts the two out.

Personal Area

Exness Personal Area login in three steps

  1. Open the official exness.com

Use the account button on this page or type exness.com directly into the address bar. Checking the address before entering a password is a simple habit that shuts out phishing copies — fake pages built only to collect passwords.

  2. Enter the email and password

Both were chosen at registration. A new device or browser may trigger a one-time verification code sent to that email — enter it and the login completes. A forgotten password is reset from the same official login page.

  3. Everything else is inside

The Personal Area holds deposits and withdrawals, the leverage setting of each trading account, opening real and demo accounts, and the download links for every platform.

MT4 and MT5 ask for a different key

The terminals do not accept the email. They log in with the trading account number, the trading password, and the server name. The account number and server name are shown in the Personal Area and in the email sent when the trading account was created.

The trading password is set when the trading account is created; if it is lost, it is reset in the Personal Area — it is not displayed anywhere. First-login walkthroughs: MT4 → MT5 →

Troubleshooting

If the Exness login fails

The checklist covers what actually goes wrong, in the order worth trying.

Work down the list

  • Forgotten password. The reset option on the official login page sends a password-reset email to the registered address. A reset works only on exness.com — a “reset” link anywhere else is a red flag.
  • Password is correct but rejected. Most often a typo in the email, an old address, or a second Personal Area registered under a different email. Trying the other addresses usually resolves it.
  • A verification code is requested. Normal on a new device or browser: a one-time code goes to the registered email. Check the inbox and the spam folder, then enter the code to finish the login.
  • The login form asks for a number, not an email. That is the MT4/MT5 platform login: trading account number, trading password, and the server name exactly as shown in the Personal Area. The email and its password will not work there.
  • Caps Lock and autofill. Browser autofill inserting an outdated password is a frequent culprit. Typing the password manually, with Caps Lock off, rules both out.
  • Still locked out. There may simply be no account under that email yet — registration takes a few minutes on the official website. Questions along the way can go to Live Help on this site.

Phishing hygiene

One address for the Exness login: the official exness.com

Every route on this site — Personal Area, platform passwords, installers — ends at the same place. A page that looks right on the wrong address is the whole trick of phishing.

Address-bar habits

Read the domain before typing a password. The Exness login lives on exness.com. Extra words, swapped letters, or a different ending in the address are the classic marks of a phishing copy.

Type it or bookmark it. Entering exness.com by hand, or opening a saved bookmark, skips look-alike results entirely.

Treat login links in messages with suspicion. A message urging a quick “login verification” through its own link is safer ignored — going to exness.com by hand costs seconds.

What this site does — and does not

It explains the routes: which platform fits which device, where the official installers are, and how the two logins work. It is run by an independent Exness partner.

It shows no login form, asks for no password or verification code, and stores no account data. Every account button opens the official exness.com, where the actual login happens.

Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

Where does the Exness login actually happen?

On the official exness.com. This independent partner site accepts no logins and stores no account data; every account button here opens the official website, where the Personal Area login lives.

What is the difference between the Personal Area login and the MT4/MT5 login?

The Personal Area signs in with the email and password chosen at registration and manages the account — deposits, withdrawals, settings. MT4 and MT5 sign in with a trading account number, a trading password, and a server name; those open the terminal where trading happens.

What if the Exness password is forgotten?

The login page on the official exness.com has a reset option that sends a password-reset email to the registered address. The MT4/MT5 trading password is different — it is reset inside the Personal Area after signing in with the email.

Why does Exness ask for a verification code at login?

A login from a new device or browser can trigger a one-time code sent to the registered email address. It is a routine security check — entering the code completes the login. If no code arrives, the spam folder is the first place to look.

Why do MT4 and MT5 reject a correct email and password?

Because the platforms never take an email. They log in with the trading account number, the trading password, and the exact server name, all tied to a specific trading account. The number and server name are shown in the Personal Area; the trading password is set when the account is created and reset there if lost.

Is a login needed to download MT4 or MT5?

No. The installers download from the official Exness website without any login; the same links are also listed inside the Personal Area. The download guide covers every device.

No account behind that login yet?

Creating one takes a few minutes on the official Exness website — an email and a short questionnaire; identity verification follows in the Personal Area. The email and password chosen there become the Personal Area login described on this page. Full registration walkthrough →
